Friday 16th January

Part 1

At 4:50 I was walking past the stage door at Hammer Hall on the way back to my hotel planning on just seeing if others were there then to go get ready and return. There was a small group of people surrounding the door with cameras and when I got closer I realised Delta was there too! So I started to slightly hyperventilate whilst try to show my mum how to use my camera then Delta's security guard said it was time for her to go back in so mum yelled 'we came over from New Zealand' and Delta smiled then said 'awww come over here'. I managed to act semi composed as I got her to sign Innocent Eyes for me and she asked me what concert I was going to, I got a photo and few hugs, then she went inside. I then started shaking and crying like a freak and it was over!

Part 2

After the concert I ran to the stage door and waited until like 1:30am when we finally believed them when they said that she was already gone!

Saturday 17th January

Part 1

I got ready early so I could be at the stage door by 4:00, we waited and waited but it was a no show so I went back to the hotel before the concert.

Part 2

I ran to the stage door again after the concert this time managing to actually get a spot next to the door. After waiting for a few hours we got told to line up or else she wouldn't be coming out, so after a few failed attempts we were lined up and Delta came out just past midnight!

While she was making her way down the line her mum and Brian came out, they were standing a few metres away from me but I wasn't willing to loose my place in line to talk to Brian.

At 12:50 she got up to my part of the line and when she saw me said 'there's my New Zealand girl' and gave me a massive hug. She signed my program, asked how I like the concert and what my favourite part was etc. I then got another photo with her and talked a little bit longer. She gave me another hug then continued on down the line. This time I managed to not have a break down! I hung around for a bit longer until she was gone then must of looked really cool when I practically danced all the way back to my hotel!
